Session Recaps

The Stray Dandies travel from Pax Tharkis through underground tunnels to Thorbardin. Bron reappears from a portal, seemingly found by Beryl during their journey. They accept him into their group and continue to Thorbardin.

The now stray dandies with Aydrinel, Laith, and Silver travel through the corrupted woods that once were Qualinesti. The forest actively works against the group, trying to get them lost. However, Shim’s compass and Vodren’s survival skills kept them from becoming hopelessly lost.

The party sets out from the Noskwa settlement and heads towards the undead.

Insomnia was not a symptom unfamiliar to Oliver. It was apparently common for Half-elves to struggle with bouts of it as his elven blood tried to have him trance but his humanity reminded him he was incapable. He found fighting it a lesson in futility, but he could sometimes trick it.

The Dandies hunker down to wait out the blizzard. Oliver and Calix attempt to keep their morale up for the three days they're trapped. Martle and Vobble start to grate on each other while Calix smooths things over with a story. Oliver tries to keep things light with Violin music, but it gets on people's nerves after three days.

The group heads to Sky Hall to confront Paladithel and is met with five of his team to show them. Sitting in the stands is the Speaker of the Suns, who berates the two nobles for wanting to fight as Qualinesti burns. Bomba notices that Princess Laurana's ghost stands beside her father.

The party returns to where they fought the Dragolin, with the Drider leading. The party asks for his name, and he replies that it is forfeit. From then on, the party calls him Forfeit.

The group preps for their morning plan to steal the Fang of Verdance from Paladithel and to escape into the Roseblack.

With their plan in place the Dandies head to the keep where King Grisis Goldhide and his inner circle hold themselves up during the demon attack. 

Calix charges Nimble as soon as the door is open, attempting to pin the kender to the ground. Nimble retaliates by sinking his teeth deep into him, draining him of his blood. Calix however grips tightly to him and keeps him held, not allowing his escape. Oliver, seeing how injured Calix is, rallies the party's spirit making them hardier for a bit and taunts the Kender. Konguq hinders any further attempts for escape by raising stalactites and stalagmites from the earth.

The group takes the letter from Morris and enters the Captain's quarters and begins to read. Chrysalis having heard of the group's run in with Spike wants to make a deal that would settle any animosity between her and Konguq and wipe Oliver's 290 steel debt. The group is wary but decides to meet with her.
