Party
Ace-human rouge
Ryai-Elf Spellblade
Konguq-human wizard
Vodren-Human Cleric
With the party at an impasse with Billie and Vorlo, they are found by the original town guard, the Valen Wood Rangers.
They are taken to a refugee camp and are met with the known survivors. Allon, High Seeker Hederick, and Rigny.
The party is taken to meet an old dwarf, someone Vodren remembers from childhood, to talk about the current climate of their situation. They are informed of the dragon armies laying waste on the continent and are presented with options for where to go.
Not wanting to be tied down, the party decides to go to the nearest port town, Crossing.
They spend the night in the camp. Ryai checks with Allon for his journal. Allon fortunately still had it, and Ryai asks Allon about the dragon orbs. He gets a few leads from Allon and allows him to copy the etching.
In return for the spell book, Allon teaches Konguq and Ryai the spell Rumblegut's Surprising Staff.
Ryai then meets with Rigny. He finds that Rigny's family is alive but captured and wounded. Rigny vows to get them back and starts training with a spear. Ryai tells them they're heading to Crossing and hopes to see them all safe again.
Ace meets with Billie and offers her the belt buckle from Flint. She refuses it. Ace holds onto it to sell later.
The next morning, they are introduced to another Dwarf named Bron. Bron is a silent fellow and offers to defend the party in exchange for a share of their gains.
The party sets out to make their way to the new town
